The first “Super Sunday Get-Together” promotion of the year (welcoming late model American powered cars and trucks to participate on Sunday of a National event) was a big hit at last weekend’s Goodguys 5th PEAK Chicagoland Nationals in Joliet, Illinois! The final tally of late models was well over 200 cars!



The turnout exceeded expectations, offering an entire new group of Goodguys and gals a fantastic day with their ride. The cars ranged from Corvette Z06’s, to late model Camaro’s, Mopar’s and lots of tricked out trucks. The AutoCross was a very popular draw for the new attendees. “They were having a great time,” said Goodguys VP of Event Operations Harry Daviess. “It definitely exceeded our expectations for a first time,” Daviess said. For Vendors, this means more people, and new people, on Sundays.



Two more Goodguys Super Sunday Get-Together promotions are planned this season including Sunday, September 4th at the Goodguys 10th Midwestern Nationals at Kansas Speedway, as well as Sunday, October 30th at the 18th Southeastern Nationals at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
